The Samares Players

Call the cafe on 01534 721983
Hot refreshments also available during the intermission.
This must be Shakespeare‘'s most loved comedy. It has two great love stories.
In one, Beatrice and Benedick are locked in a battle of wits for years, until friends trick them into realising that they have been in love all along.
In the other, Don John devises a plot to ruin Claudio‘s happiness with Hero, with almost tragic results, until the villains are foiled by the dimwit arm of the law.
The play starts as a war ends, so we have set it in 1945, with its characteristic style, music and Dad‘s Army‘ comic characters.
Tickets £12 from arts center box office 01534 700444
